Yesterday was a very 'busy' day. Went out and back home like for 3 times in total la. First time was to go lunch with my brothers and sister-in-laws (SIL in short) coz my ma suddenly call me say that they dont want buy lunch back for me coz they are happily shopping at AMK hub while i'm toiling my heart out studying at home (actually not la, coz i watched 3 episodes of bleach while at it. Ha.) And so, out of my house i went. Went library to find them. Sherman was still online when i logged off half an hour before i went out and he's supposed to go study with them. He justwoke up at 11plus la! Aiyoh, pig one. Ha. So we waited for him to go lunch together, who know we wait so sekali he already ate lunch le (or was it his breakfast?) And i went home.
Ma came home and i started washing the toilet. Wash toilet for one hour can. Scrub scrub scrub... Haiz, my knee got problem again. Old problem. I old liao la. And then i had to go get my chem notes from Amelia and out i went again, not forgetting to return Guo Hao's (GH/San Ge) handphone which he asked me to charge for him. Convenient ah? Next time must charge you le! Haha. So went library and sat there talking to Sherman (Sherm/ Da Ge) while waiting for Amelia to get her books and stuff. Then slacked some more by talking to Amelia about econs and how NOT to pass it, which was a totally easy task for me, given that no matter how hard i study, i cant seem to pass at all. Haiz. What a failure. And so i went home again.
Ate dinner at home, coz got fish and chips since its fathers' day. And was shocked how many people forgot about this day for fathers. Haiz, poor dads. Went to find the brotherhood and SILs actually to catch a movie after 730, but who could have thought that there wasn't any moives that fitted the time. Ocean thirteen started at 1030 or 930. Cant remember. And i missed S.W.A.T airing on channel 5! Arggh! Though my rocking father did tape the last 20 minutes of it. Woots!
Qiao Wei (QW/da sao/ san sao) spotted the neoprint shop and dragged the guys in. Ok, i did help drag too. Haha. So anyway they chose a machine and we got in. Funny thing is that the guys seem to totally dislike the camera. Roughly out of ten pictures, 5 pictures excluded their heads. Haha! There was this one in which GH's head looked torn from his body and Lai Meng (LM/ da sao/san sao/ xiao di) was pulling his shirt and erm... shoulders into the picture. Hilarious. Then later, the SILs or people with super identity crisis (unlike me who has a bigger problem - gender confusion) started deco-ing the hilarious neoprints while the rest of us stood behind and i was laughing like crazy coz LM and QW were putting flowers and ribbons on GH and Sherm's head which was totally gay. Haha. After like the longest of time(coz the countdown timing paused at 40 secs) me+Sherm+GH got a bit tired of standing and went into the machine to sit down la. Sherm was trying to play a peek-a-boo game with me can... Aiyoh, how old le???
And we started spam-ing LM and then QW. Took our handphones and see who could get her line first. Like 1,2,3, press! Haha. In the end we had called LM 20 something times in total la. And QW too. Haha. Oh, there was this girl/woman that tried to come into our machine but when she lifted the 'curtains' at the side of the machine, took one look at us and FLED. I really mean fled. She literally ran away. Gosh, i think we are really the 'Men In White'. Haha. Then Sherm was like : we should have pretended to be taking neoprints la. Haha. I think if he did, that girl/woman would have screamed and sprinted away, thinking got some lunatics hanging around la. Haha. So fun. Brothers manx.

Hmmm... I was on MSN with San Ge and just realised how complicated my family web is. And San Ge is either overly-obsessed with himself or is an asexual. Coz... he wants San Sao to be himself! So its like San Ge = San Sao. Aiyoh, how come like that? He say he want let Da Ge have 2 wives.
Hmmm... Da Ge you very 'xing fu' you know? Haha. Somemore we detected another incoming wife for you lehx. Meigui loh. So scandalous manx. Haha. By the way, meigui your leg better le ma? Ah Wen and her brother drinking Sprite at Bishan Macs. So sweet la. Haha.Today after the stupid econs tuition we picked Ah Wen's brother up at the mrt and then we went to eat Pastamania. He very excited about eating the pasta coz he never eat before. Haha. So funny. Of course i forever eat the same pasta - mussels and clams linguine in white wine. Forever eat the same thing de. Then actually we supposed to go somewhere to study one. Sekali we ended up walking around cineleisure and then we went to Sony Ericsson service centre to get Ah Wen's handphone fixed. Only after that, did we really go around looking for somewhere to study. Orchard library cannot study one lo. No tables no nothing. Only got some seats in cubicle-like areas. Haha. Ended up in Bishan (as usual) de Macs. Haha. Ate shaker fries. Why is there such thing as shaker fries to tempt us huh? Haiz. So then study study study lo... But only studied for a total of 2 and a half hours lo. Hmmm... getting less and less productive these days. Maybe coz i'm already too tired to go on. For me myself and I.

And so we 'jie pai' into brothers. Funny. Did it on MSN. I was laughing to the laptop la. And my ma thought i was crazy, and my dad worse... Thought i was watching p**n. Haha.
Anyway, was saying about the sister and brother and sister in law and brother in law thing then i think i said something bout joining the brotherhood. Then Sherman suddenly say want be Da Ge. So also dunno why i suddenly became Er Ge and San Ge is Guo Hao, Xiao di is Lai meng. Didn't you realise that actually Sherman is the youngest here? And we seriously got gender crisis.Who knows? Maybe Guo Hao and Sherman are of the female species? Haha.
And the hilarious part is when Sherman started asking us to hold joss sticks and face the east. Guo Hao was asking why cannot face the west la. Haha. So i faced north (kidding la, was facing the comp and laughing like crazy). Then Sherman started the 'ritual' of saying things like '
bu4 neng3 tong2 nian2 tong2 yue4 tong2 ri4 sheng1, dan4 yuan4 tong2 nian2 tong2 yue4 tong2 ri4 si3'.And asked us to 'ke1 tou2'. Then he started asking who got wine and we 'cheers-ed' Haha. And so we became brothers.
Once we became brothers, Da Ge kicked Xiao Di out of the brotherhood la. That part really very messy. Then Lai Meng keep wanting to join back, and so we started talking about incest. And Sherman was like, must use INCESTICIDE le. So lame la. Qiao Wei was in the conversation too and she obviously became my sister in law. Haha. So she's our San Sao liao. Haha. There was also talk bout whether we would have a Da Sao or not. The Potential Da Sao---- Lai Meng. haha. No wonder Sherman want kick her out of the brotherhood la. Got ulterior motive de. Haha.

Qiao Wei & Sherman (Wasn't 'arguing' that day, haha)
Me & the juniors +renjie. That unforgettable night in camp when we just didn't sleep and talked about everything, simply everything.So now i've been declared to be of the male species by Mr Lau Guo Hao and have become his brother, which i didn't know how. But haha, fun what. then can keep asking him about my 'sister-in-law'. Haha.
Went mugging with the juniors again yesterday afternoon. Actually the main bulk of it was only with lai meng lohz. Mr Sherman Tan sleep until like 2plus and Mr Lau was playing games la. Somemore say he'll reach at 3. Haha. Anyway i realised that once Qiaowei arrives and i leave, they start to have 3 person exco meeting le. So much for mugging. Haha.
Came back after tuition and found them 'arguing' over the intra badminton team stuff and Mr Lau was super bored. Think Ms Yip even worse, was cornered at a corner while Qiaowei and Mr Tan was 'discussing very loudly'. Found that actually they had new ideas that we should have came out with when we were still in exco. And that i can't involve myself too much in their stuff now was rather saddening. Haiz.
Realised that these few days i've been spending my time with the juniors leh. So interesting la.But its not like me(senior) and the juniors. It's more like we all (juniors, i very young one lo! haha) And i have been mugging ok.. My ma don't believe me leh. Hmm.. ok la, got talk a bit la. But i kind of disciplined de ok... Haha.

Stepped down today. Can’t find the words to express my reluctance and … Oh my, I can’t imagine that I’ve forged such a strong feeling with the team and my EXCo. Arggh.. the tears can’t stop flowing now. I just have so many stuff to say, so much to thank. Why is it always like that…
Learnt loads of stuff throughout these two years. Got more involved in the team and duh, closer too. Maybe it’s my only way to give back to the team. The juniors, seniors, coach, teachers and us have integrated into one big family. Not sure bout how you guys think, but, the team has become an essential part of my JC life, the driving force that pushes me through the days. Though it’s only a mere two years, but this sense of belonging to NJ is forged by the badminton team above all others. God must be fair, to have given me such a wonderful team and EXCo, when I can’t find belonging and spirit in other factors. You must admit that my class has little or almost no class bonding. Not to blame anyone, it’s the circumstances we’re in. Wednesday’s the last day we’re in the team. It’s only a few weeks and I’ve started to miss trainings already. And imagine not having trainings for the rest of the year and more. I doubt I’ll join badminton in university (if I can ever get into one). But the thing is, I said the same thing before I went to JC. Said that I’ll never join badminton again, and that it would take up too much of my time. Who knows, after quitting touch rugby (which I never regretted), I’m back in the court, making friends with the shuttle again. Life’s really unpredictable.

Captain Cindy Chng (Haha… CCC)
Ultra-busy businesswoman, multitasker, always-on-the-phone, perfect housewife, Ultimate superwoman. Yup, that kind of summarizes all about her. Haha. Never see her small, coz she packs a lot of qualities inside. Haha. And she acts CUTE. Haha. Ok, maybe she don’t need to act. Er… haha. Oh yah, and she doesn’t like to pick up her phone de. Message her must wait for at least two to four hours for reply. Haha. Plus, she the world recognized blur–er. Haha. Tell you guys, just a few days before, she went to Malaysia for geography trip and guess what? She returned home with the hotel room key card and gave the receptionist her EZ link card. Hilarious. And hor, her phone and comp batteries are always flat. Maybe that’s why she has so much energy in her. Haha, lame.
Vice-captain Mitchell Soh
One Ah-Pek wannabe. But can consider already is. Haha. He’s the one in the exco with a super lots of scandals, guess its coz the other guy is already attached. Haha. He very ah-pek-ish so much so that that time we had our December chalet, we lied to Cindy’s cousin that he was our teacher in charge and he believed la. So you can roughly see the extent. Haha. Besides that, he’s kind of ‘kan-chong’. Actually not kind of, it’s super kan-chong. Then when I tell Yiwen, she keep saying he ‘kan-chong spider’… I also don’t know why kan-chong relates to spider. Haha. Anyway, CAN YOU PLEASE DON”T SHOUT WHEN TALKING ON THE PHONE? Always shout into my ear until when I talk to him on the phone, must put the phone at least 3 inches away from my ear to avoid chronic ear pain. haha. hmmm.. but he's very involved in our exco stuff. Kind of hard to get this kind of committment. And that he was injured last end year but didn't give up supporting us and not being daunted by the reactions and responses to that by some. One commited guy. Yup.
Vice-captain June Tan aka the da mei nu
Self-proclaimed beauty. Haha, ok la, you not bad la. Haha. Source of all scandals. She’s the I-magazine of the team. And all the scandals and real ones start from her and her camera that’s never off. Flashes at the speed of lightning. But nonetheless she can’t escape from her own, which she keeps agreeing to (normal people would deny de). Haha. We’re all resigned to the fate that we’re all someone’s scandal. Haha. The entire exco has been webbed up by her. Everyone’s each others darling. Gosh, and there’s gay scandals too la. Haha. All thanks to June, our life in training and gatherings are brightened up and of course after trying to avoid her camera for the past two years, we have seemed to have gotten a more flexible body and faster reflexes.
Quartermistress Sherrie Tan
Youngest of the pack. Scandalous one. Haha. Ok, we all know who’s the guy bahx. Though she may be tied down by different timetables from us and other commitments, always makes the effort. One that you can talk to. And she’s super LAME. Really lame. But the thing is, her jokes are so coold that we often freeze up before we can respond. Haha.
Exco mentor Tan Wen Hao aka Hao-xiong
The old one. Okok, I’m older but hey, you’re more experienced in the team what. He has been in the team for 4 years coz obviously he’s IP. People keep thinking that he always gets retained when they keep seeing him at the JC nationals year after year. One super great gentleman, the endangered species. I think all the girls also think so ba. Aiyoh, like very super hor. Haha. Was the previous exco captain. So there’ some similiarities in the way he thinks and Cindy think. We always get super scared when they plan PT or training together. Got all those weird ideas one lo. And they seem to have never ending amount of energy de lo. Though Cindy is still the ultimate energy bar. Haha. She seem to drink Red Bull everyday one la. Haha. He already got ar-hem le, but still gets tangled up in our EXCo web of ‘darlings’, so poor thing. And so dumb la. All thanks to someone.
Yup, that’s about it. I really want to thank my entire EXCo for being there and being together. Made a great difference to my life. Thanks guys!!!! Everything shouldn’t just end here with our passing down ceremony. We’re forever EXCo ‘06 – ’07, not ex-EXCo. Heex.
And to all the newly appointed exco, all the best and I hope you guys will do even better than us. I’ve never expected you guys to have become so bonded with each other. The future lays bright for you guys and with all determination and spirit, I believe you guys will make it through the top 8 and do us proud. Exco ’07 –’08, the ‘outgoing’ EXCo will still be here to guide you guys through de. Hong Hu, you can come find me to clear any question marks anytime.
